Blown A Wish III [Night 1/3]

Blown A Wish has always been about giving artists and bands who aren't officially part of the 'industry conference' a platform. For this show we have Beryl up from Sydney/Eora, Brisbane/Magandjin's own Lottie McLeod and tickertape alongside official artists koady and Aotearoa's Greatsouth. This will be the debut show for tickertape, following the release of their first single 'Flourish' in July. The supergroup features members of koady and Charlotte Meade's bands.
O'Skulligans are allowed to hold live music again. To set off this momentous occasion Team Glasses is holding a showcase displaying three fantastic Brisbane artists. Adorned are Brisbane's premium screamo band; expect heavy moshing and intensity. Kings Currency bring the grunge vibes to the table and Ritual Disorder are a shoegazey post-punk band destined to be moody. The label holding the show is Team Glasses, who puts out only the best heavy music in Brisbane.

The lineup includes shoegazers 01 Thurman, indie rockers Dirty Harry; singer songwriters Lottie Mcleod and Charlotte Meade. Headlining the gig are Brisbane post-punk favourites Special Features.

Fletcher Dunn will be bringing their pop punk tunes to the Cave Inn in Woolloongabba. This will be Dunn's first show back in Brisbane after a stint overseas and it will be a welcome return.
